 E-Palarong Pambansa reveals game format of the upcoming E-palaro this 2023.

“Get your teams ready and join us in the first ever E-Palaro virtual arena! Included in the first-ever E-Palaro are popular online Esports titles such as League of Legends, Valorant, League of Legends Wild Rift, Call of Duty Mobile, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Registration of teams is open up until the end of May!,” the management said on their Facebook Page.

Qualifiers – The Philippines will be divided into four Regional Legs: North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The teams will compete in single elimination brackets competing with other cities/municipalities in their region and will earn points based on their position in the bracket for that week.

 

The top four teams with the most points in each region after four weeks of Qualifiers will advance to the Group stage.
– The game mode is Best-of-1 and will follow the guidelines of the competitive scene.
– The bracket size is 2,048 (we’re expecting over 1,000 but to be safe and following the “power of 2” sequence, it’s the number after 1,024).
– The team size is 10

Group Stage
– We’ll have four different groups that will compete in a single round-robin match every week:
Two teams with the most wins from every group will proceed to the Playoffs
– The game mode is Best-of-1 and will follow the guidelines of the competitive scene.
– No brackets needed because it’s Round Robin
– The team size is 10

The tentative schedule of Games for Qualifiers and Group:
Mondays – Call of Duty Mobile
Tuesday – League of Legends PC
Wednesday – Mobile Legends Bang Bang
Thursday – Valorant
Friday – League of Legends Wild Rift


Playoffs
– The eight remaining teams will contend for the Championship, Rank 1 teams from each week will draw lots to 1) choose the DAY they will play and based on that order, from Day 1-4, 2) choose the Rank 2 team they want to face in the first round of the playoffs.

– The game mode is Single Eliminations Best-of-3 and will follow the guidelines of the competitive scene.
– Bracket size of 8

– The team size is 10
